Dear Madam,

In my view, you should leave it to your husband to manage his own finances. If he is presently in debt, he has a secured government job to repay and clear all his liabilities in due course. You should try to ensure that the money that he borrows on interest is systematically recorded in a diary with all details of the lender(s). You should regularly update the Bank Statements through which blank cheques have been issued. Your support to him is more important than your fear and inhibitions. Always remain an opportunist and think positive.

Regards,
