Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I had signed a two year indemnity bond with icici bank and was sent for one month training to Raipur. We were told that the cost of the training would be deducted every month from our salary. But I did not like the job at all. It was the worst. Icici bank has no value in the market. No one wanted anything to do with it. So I left in two months. After 6 months I got a demand legal notice saying I have to pay for the training. And then again after 6 months I received another letter. I did not react at all to it. But somehow they found the landline number of the hotel I currently work for. And some lady calls and keeps harassing me and my work colleagues. What should I do?

Dear Sir / Madam,

An employment or service bond of any form or nature on any pretext or the other like training cost is illegal and a criminal offence. The Company inducts training to its staff which benefits the Company. If you have not specifically agreed in writing to the training cost being deducted from your salary, you should tell the caller to stop calling you otherwise you will lodge a Police complaint for harassment.

1) U hv to comply with the T&C of ur appointment order, covering two years service bond.

2) The training cost as demanded by ICICI has to be paid since u violated the contract.

3) If the cost is high or unreasonable, then the service bond can be challenged and illegal.
