(1) You may request the police to issue a "Look Out Notice" against your husband and deliver the same to you 'by hand' so that you may show it to the US authorities;

(2) You may make an application to the court granting AB to his parents about deposit of their passport in the court;

(3) You may also claim maintenance for yourself and for your son.

If you are not satisfied with the investigation, you have two broad options:

1. File a private complaint.

2. Apply to the court for monitoring the investigation.

While getting AB your father in-law had bound themself not to leave INDIA. But Even then they may leave India. There are various ways to get releif from court and bound your husband and get compensation amount also.

in your situation when husband is deliberately avoiding maintenance to you and his son, it is advisable to file a complaint for maintenance as well on your behalf and on behalf of your son. apart from that, you may file a complaint under domestic violence act and seek residence order and you would be entitled to even stay at the house of your inlaws here in india or you may even get residence orders to stay with your husband in US. you may file the domestic violence complaint for residence orders, maintenance and compensation for you and your son.
