Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I have file a complaint case in TIs hazari Court and previously it showed in the cause list as a CC No but now it is showing a FIR no. what is the meaning of that.

Either the FIR has been lodged or it is wrongly mentioned as fir.

It may better to check correct status with the Registry.

after filing case if court orders FIR then it may be converted into FIR or it will be by mistake.
