Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I gave to my relative some signed blank papers along with signed empty bank cheques.after that relationship got broken.so we immediately cancelled the cheques.this happened 6 months back now he wrote some thing on the blank white paper that I owe him 10 Lakhs for that I gave a cancelled cheque and filed a criminal case on me.now what I have to do.pls help me

If the FIR has been registered then you have to defend yourself. Meanwhile, file a complaint against him u/s 406/420/471 IPC to the police and if police does not register the FIR, then complain to the magistrate of your area u/s 200 CrPC alongwith an application u/s 156(3) CrPC

If there is no prima facie case, one may approach high court for quashing or sessions court by filing revision to challenge the order issuing process.
