Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Hi

I recently travelled to Kenya and encountered a situation where i was arrested and arraigned to court for a criminal case. i was given a cash bail and my case date set for Feb 2015.

the case involved:

a women who attempted to file a criminal case against me hoping for me to offer cash compensation. it was linked sexual harassment.

as i was travelling to the country at the time, i have since then returned back home to India but the court had noted down my passport number and other details.

i don't intend on returning to Kenya to attend the case. i would like to know what are the risks of me being arrested in India for that case... what is the legal process and how to i protect my self in case the court in Kenya issues a warrant of arrest for me not attending the case

what is the legal procedure linked to the kinds of cases and whether i should attend the case..... i don't intend on visiting the country again....

Thanks

i would like you to meet a lawyer in person along with all the documents including the FIR lodged against you and the detail of court proceedings. only after going through the documents, you would guided whether to stay calm or be represented through a lawyer in your case or some other law that may come to your rescue.

regards

Adv. Rajiv
