Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
How long a criminal case (dowry death) remains open if it is inactive for 1 year? What if police does not found evidence (no evidence for accused person) and the both the parties are quiet on the case (no contact for a year or more)?

the law takes it's own course and such criminal cases do not attraction law of limitation.
