Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Sir I got a cheque from my landlords to refund the deposit amount but it got bounced due to account close. I called many time and went to meet them but didn't received my money. Last time they met me and told me that they will deduct some amount from my deposit for various reasons which was not acceptable to me so I send them a notice on 26th day of cheque bounce . They called me on phone and asked me to come to a bank and take my money but their voice was threatening and i asked them just to deposit it into my account as i already send them the cheque bounce memorendum containing number. I also message him the complete details of my account but not received anything. What step can i take to get the money back? Can he make an excuse of not meeting him when he called me in bank?
