sir, actually in my husband case 1 FIR Filled and RC No is also 1, vs CBI in patiala house court and then they split that in 7 cases. now judgement came and court declared guilty my husband in all the seven cases. judge given 4 years sentence in one case as well as 7 cases. Then the jail authorities are saying that the total period of imprisonment is 28 years they sent a letter to the concerned judge and he given a reply that the it run separately. it means the total period is 28 years. Sir, is it possible that a person can live in jail for 28 years. please confirm.

We have replied this question several times. Repetition will not help you. It may be better for you to meet a lawyer personally and seek his opinion on the basis of all the seven judgements.

The Court may direct the sentence to run concurrently on consecutively. If sentence is directed to run consecutively, the accused may have to remain in jail for 28 years.
