In the reference to the Question you posted our answer is the following:

1. Defamation is a crime according to the article 209385386 of the Lebanese penal Law.

2. This crime is only conceded when it happens in a public place or when it reaches the public through TV other Medias.

In your case you can only sue your husband and mother in law only if those terms are fulfilled. Meaning you cant do anything.
