Legal Question in Education Law in India

Sir, I am a student of class 12 (commerce) in DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, DULIAJAN, ASSAM, INDIA. Age- 18 years (on January 17), DOB- 17th January, 1996. I want to pursue BBA(Bachelors of Business Adminstration) degree from a reputed unversity namely SRM University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, but my father is against my decision and warning me that he wont provide any finance, if I dont follow his decision. He added he wont be able bear such expenditure and he wants me to get admission in a university which is owned by his family friend and under there reference and pressure he wants me to get admission there. I am totally against it because

1. It is my life and I have the right to decide my future.

2. Who are the outsider to decide my future. It just feels like I am being control by them through my father. I am losing that freedom.

I asked my father I even could take educational loan from bank when the admission is secured and you just need to give a co-obligation to the bank but he didn't give any importance to it rather said " do whatever u want i even take any undertaking but i wont provided finance" because he wont even feel to repay the loan. ITS A MENTAL TORTURE HE IS DOING TO ME..

Please help me and suggest me some advice. Can i file a case against this harassing act. It is torturing me badly..my exam are nearing and will appear board exam this march 2014. pls advice me what should i do.

If your father dont have money then how you can pressurize him.

you are major and if you can earn yourself then you may pursue any course.
