Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi I am Anand, I filed a divorce case in Nov 2014. So many hearing has happened but my wife has not filed counter. Last hearing Judge told that she will give ex parte to her and close the case. Kindly explain what it mean and what will be the next?

Did you mean Nov 2013?? Incase your wife has not filed her Written Statement, the judge will pass ex-parte orders in your favour and close the case. Exparte means only hearing one party.
