In reference to your question, be advised that the Lebanese civil courts are competent to try your case. They will judge it according to Cyprians laws. You can obtain the divorce of your husband and get the full custody of your children; nevertheless he can get the right to see and escort them once a week, unless it is proven that he represents a threat for them due to his personality, etc, in that case he will loose all his rights regarding the kids.
During the procedure, you will keep the kids under your custody, till the case is terminated, and issue a ban of traveling against them to forbid him from taking them out of the country.
