Legal Question in Family Law in India

My daughter who is recently married is in trouble because of her husband's step mother and father in law. though my daughter is staying separate in the ground floor of the house, the torture from the step mother is continuing. recently they have beaten my daughter abused and counter complaint was given by them for which we are also under FIR for false reasons.

Now, we have decided to go for 498A, DV, apply for quashing of FIR in high court. Any other thing we can do against this step mother and puppet father in law who is dancing to the tunes of his second wife who is not having any children. The house is reportedly through ancestral property partly and earning of late mother and the boy. Please advise. This is in Bangalore.
