Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
If defendant denies to receive any Court Notice (Case is for Maintenance and Restoration of Bridal Gifts+Interim Maintenance) and doesn't file any reply within defined time period whats next step of Court. "Notice has been sent via TCS and as per their Record Notice has been received by Defendant" 2. Does court send copy of notice to Union Council too?

The court may proceed against the defendants and pass appropriate orders after carefully examined the ex-parte evidence and documents in accordance with the law and decreed the suit as prayed for.
So in my opinion, you may proceed with the case and hire your lawyer to defend your case otherwise the court in your absence may pass a ex-parte decree.
It has nothing to do with union council.. Try to get an order passed under 17-A before proceeding further.. For more do consult [email protected]
