Re: Divorce

Dear Sirs,

To proceed with the divorce between a French man and a Spanish girl married in Mexico, first of all, the marriage must be registered in the Civil Registry Office in Indonesia. For such registration a statement letter from the respective embassies of each party must be obtained stating the intention to register the marriage in the Civil Registry in Indonesia. After said registration has been conducted, it is then possible to apply for a divorce here in Indonesia via vourt proceedings. As soon as the divorce decision has been issued by the court it is then reported to the Civil Registry Office. The Divorce Deed is then legalized in both the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so as to be enforceable in the respective countries of the parties involved.
