Legal Question in Family Law in India
My father has not been supporting our family since last 10 yrs. He refuse to do work and does not give any money at home. He is in a debt of 4-5 lac, and i know how my mother is paying that to the people who come and shout at our home. My mother is doing job but she can afford only some home expenses. She cant afford to pay the school fees of my younger brother and sister. I have completed my school that too due to the kindness of our school principal. But now i want to study higher but my father isn't giving any money at home. If we rebel, he beats us often. Moreover, he doesn't allow us to talk to any people or doesn't let us go anywhere, even on sunday. He is full in his ego. What should we do, please guide us.

Your mother and you can file police complaint of harassment and beating (Try to complain immediately when he beats your mother or you while calling 100 no. from your phone). Then everything will be alright and engage any expert lawyer or if you are poor then you may get free advocate from local court of your area.
