Hello,My friend is hindu and got married in 2013 november.What i found out is the marriage is against her will,her father said he will die if she donot marry the guy.So she had no choice to get married.But later she was not able to survive in the marriage because of the loveless abusive marriage.her parents donot support her and forcing her to stay with the husband.So in this case what is are the steps legally to follow to get out of it.

She can also file domestic violence case and ask compensation for mental harassment. She can ask maintenance from husband by filling case under sec 125 of criminal procedure code.
