Legal Question in Family Law in India

hi.i filled 498A on my inlaws and brother in law.but after filing fir the police gave them time for counselling.but it didnt work out.then the police said they were arresting the accused as they are not complying with them.then all of a sudden the accused got a police station bail and they went away.is it possible to get police staion bail in 498A case.and on what ground can they get this bail .and can they escape from the case using this bail.
