Legal Question in Family Law in Bangladesh

My husband family gave pressure for dowry. Suddenly informed me that he gave me divorce. My question is:

1. If he give divorce then without my sign that will be activated? Or what's the process for it?

2. Can I do a case for dowry?

1. Unfortunately, divorce is a unilateral method of separating couples in our country. Your husband does not require your signature.

2. Claiming dowry is an offence. You can surely file a case for this crime. You can also allege threat that often comes with the dowry claim actions. Do not waste time, take action before the situation gets worse.
