yes,you are entitled to maintenance equal to the standard of your husband. no matter you were earlier teacher or not now, allegations and counter allegations are common in the matrimonial proceedings, so do not worry and carry on with the proceedings

I can understand your anguish but the only remedy you have is divorce because you can take a horse to the pond but cannot make it drink water.So even if you are not interested to give divorce then for the entire life your hubby will torture you by anymeans.You have option to file a case against him and co. for harassment under DVAct.

in case you want maintenance from him, you can file a complaint under domestic violence act and claim all the reliefs regarding maintenance, residence and compensation for mental agony you have gone through. by their saying that you are mentally unstable, you will not become one. you know what you are. so dont worry about false allegations.

You may be entitled to maintenance of Rs.7500/- - Rs.10,000/- per month;

You may also seek criminal action against your husband for causing cruelty / domestic violence.
