If you are Indian then it is advised that you should marry in India. Coz in future if any mishappening occured like if he cheat you or file divorce then he has to come india to get divorce but if you will marry in America then he will easily get divorce over there and We deal usually scuh type of cases. If the person you are going to marry is trustworthy and comfortable for you then you can marry in USA.My advise to you is that initially try to convince him to come to India and get married here.This is because for your security and safety in future,here in case if any dispute arises then your relatives would take care of it.As yours is not a legal case and you sought the advise of the attorneys,I am dared to give you some valuable tips like try to get married in both the countries and get the marriages registered in the respective countries.You have dual citizenship before opting for any one citizenship permanantly.

The marriage will be valid; you may marry either as per US Laws or Indian Laws.

Further course of action may depend upon the place the both of you may choose for living together.

the marriage performed in US according to US laws is valid in India and in case you are an india citizen, you may also hold your status as such and also acquire the citizenship by naturalization in US.
