You got married in India or in Canada. If in India then one year and if in Canada then you have to consult the lawyers in canada or i have to send your query to my associates.

A lawyer enrolled in the BCI is not supposed to give opinions of other countries subject to conditions as follows:1.The lawyer must have pursued a law course of that particular country.2.Must have been enrolled as an attorney of that particular country by fulfilling the eligibility conditions.

It is against ethics of the profession giving opinions to out of purview queries.
