Legal Question in Family Law in India

i was married in jan 2010 and delivered a child in oct 2010. I was working and paying money to my husband and inlaws. after my delivery i came back to my inlaw house in 5th month. next day itself my m-i-l fought with me to go to job. I fell sick and my hubby said to go to my mother house to take rest. he left me in my mother's place and went. After that he said if i go to job only i can go back to his house. i lost my patience and said you people want only money. Like this fight began. After that I tried for compromise. but they are not ready since i denied when he said. They did not come to take me back or see my child. its almost four years. They shifted to new house and did not give address also. I went to police station for help. They sent for counselling. there also he did not respond. he came a gave a case filing no. to police station and said he has filed for divorce case. the police also said no use and asked me to meet him in court. But after that nothing happened. no call from court also. I dont know what to do. I feel no use in going behind him since he does not have love and affection for me or child. Can I go for divorce by mutual consent. Will me and my child get compensation from him if i go on mutual consent?

Dear client if yr husband ready for giving alimony then only u will get compensation. If he deny for compensation then u have to apply for contested divorce and have to ask alimony. U can also ask maintenance for u and child by filling application under sec 125 without divorce. For any legal help call me on 9422611385
