Legal Question in Family Law in India
My parents got me married to my husband in Feb 2014 by giving a dowry of 12 lakhs. First one month he seemed fine when we were staying with my parents. Later on we rented a flat to start our own independent life. Then he started asking for money and slowly he started being away from me. In May his mom came stayed for a month and started putting allegations on me - I smoke and drink. Its been one month that i came to my parents place. and for this one month he didn't answer my calls nor the in laws answered my parents calls. In turn he and his parents are defaming me with drinking and smoking addiction allegations in front of everyone. Please suggest on how to proceed on this.
