Legal Question in Family Law in India

hello I would like to ask query on Domestic Violence matter. If Husband is directed by the court to give maintenance from the date of filing application and the stipulated amount is 250000 and whereas Husband is unable to pay it and if he is directed for imprisonment in lieu of the said amount. Whether he is liable to pay the same amount after completion of imprisonment towards wife or is she having right to claim her maintenance after also?
kindly provide with the provisions of DV act and CrPC 1908 for substantiating the ans.( Indian Laws)

imprisonment does not absolve the husband of civil liabilities towards maintenance.

. Wife can recover amount by filling civil suit , but if the husband has nothing to pay then court send him in civil imprisonment
