if you already have exhausted the safer way, it is advisable to claim maintenance and compensation from husband by filing a petition under domestic violence act as desertion and mental harassment also amounts to cruelty. you can claim maintenance, residence orders, restraint orders etc...and for that i advise you to get in touch with a local lawyer who you comfortable with.

regarding getting a happy married life back, no lawyer can help you in that as it depends upon the mindset of both husband and wife. in case they want to live together, they must, for the sake of their child.

According to me first file a case under Sec. 9 of hindu marriage act.
