Legal Question in Family Law in India

Sir, I' m a widow as my husband expired last year. My Son was married 10 yrs ago from that yr onwards my Daughter in law did not liked my son as he was not able 2 give baby & her family are threatning us of Domestic violence act and 498 act. Over petty issues she had called her brothers and my son was brutally beaten up. We have lodged complaint but police had lodged NC. . My son have lodged case against them and filed divorce also.Now they r threatning us of dire consequences. Please help.

Secondly what if i legally disown my son then can I be safe from them.

Dear client though yr daughter in law will file 498 a then u have to get bail only. It hard to prove 498 a and domestic violence case in the court. Donot worry about this. For any legal help call me on 9422611385

your son can file a police complaint or a complaint to the magistrate for the alleged beatings by brother in law. regarding disowning your son, it is your decision depending upon your circumstances.
