Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi sir,my husband has put case under section 9 in mysore family court., to rejoin ,as we r leaving separate from 2 years,now i have applied divorce,is it necessary i should attend that rejoin case ,as my lawyer is telling to transfer that rejoin case to bangalore,if i dnt attend that case will it affect my divorce case.
