Legal Question in Civil Litigation in United States

I am fulfilling a warranty by resurfacing a swimming pool. I have agreed to do it at my expense. After preparing the pool to resurface, the property is not letting me proceed any finish the job. Can I revoke my agreement to do this work since they will not let me finish in a timely manner?

I would need more details before I could give you a useful answer, not only about what has happened but also about what the warranty says and how "the property" is preventing you from doing the work. From what you have told us, it isn't even clear whether your agreement to resurface the pool is a valid contract. What's more, the laws governing situations like this may vary from one state to another, and you haven't told us what state this is happening in. (Your question is posted under United States instead of a particular state.)

Having said that, I note that the parties to a contract have a duty not to interfere with other parties' performance of their duties or receipt of the benefits due under the contract. So if you do have a valid contract with "the property", and if they have no valid reason to prevent you from performing, they may have materially breached the contract in a way that could excuse your performance.

Note that there is a *lot* of tentative language in my answer. That's because I don't know what the facts are. What I've done is to explain a legal rule which *could* apply here but which very well might not. There are any number of reasons why it wouldn't. You should discuss the facts of your case with a local attorney to learn more about your rights and obligations.

Good luck.
