Legal Question in Immigration Law in India

Dear Sir/Ma'am.

I would like ask one question.

In 1996 my father's f4 visa petition by sister of my father got approved, in which my mother and me(child) is also mention in travelling applicants. In 1998 my father went to usa after visa approved and got the permanent residence card but unfortunately my mother and i(Child) has not migrated to usa that time. Then in 2006 my father came back to india due to bad health and in 2009 he died.

In 2011 we again got a appointment letter from embassy for an interview in which principal applicant is my father and my mother is spouse and i is child is mentioned in traveling applicants.

But we had not gone for an interview in 2011. Now my question is can my mother and i(child) get an PR Card ?? as we have not migrated to usa nor we had gone for an interview.

Regards,

Rahul Verma

This question should be ideally addressed to US Immigration lawyer, not to Indian Emigration lawyer.

Based on the information you have provided, no; you would not be entitled to a Green Card (PR Card).
