Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
Hello, My name is ankit.We have house in yamunanagar district in haryana.The owner of this was my grandmother.She died last year.The problem is that, my aunt(father sister)'s son has been living with my grandmother for last 25 years,but now he is with her mother.Now, they want there part in property.Is this legal?
And in ration card , his name is present with my grandmother.
Please suggest me, what can we do?or Is it possible?

Dear Ankit,
If your grandmother has left behind a Will, the beneficiary named in her Will is entitled to get the house. If she has died intestate, all her sons and daughters have an equal share in the house.
