Absolutely! If the purpose of these accusations is defemation, then you can refer to court to sue that person under criminal law & further stop any such publications by a court order; not excluding the compensation from both as any kind of publication is under obligation to check & verify the kind of information presented to it especially that involving someone's reputation..I would advise you to keep those emails & publication as a proof of how much damage you have suffered from such defemation.
