Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I am Avinash kumar an exemployee of Larsen and toubro limited.I joined that organization in July 2013 and worked for 4 month.then I got a job in Indian oil .I have undersigned a bond to serve the Larsen and toubro for two years.I left my job on 15 the december saying that due to some problems I can not continue my service in your company. They have sent a notice to pay 2 lakhs otherwise they will take legal actions against me.I have sent a mail that my financial condition iis very poor and I can not pay this huge amount. Kindly suggest what should i do?

unless they have imparted any training to you they cannot demand any money from you. May be they are asking you to pay the notice period salary.

Dear Avinash,

An employment bond of any form or nature, being against the principles of natural justice and being a form of bonded labour, is illegal and a criminal offense. You should simply write a letter to the Company citing the facts I have mentioned and stating your inability to pay up the monies to the Company.
