Legal Question in Employment Law in India
My current company is getting acquired next month and I will completing 4 yrs 10 months this month. I need to know how to proceed furthur legally to get gratuity amount. Let me know th eligibilty criteria . My date of joining is 25/01/2010.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You will be eligible to get Gratuity on completing five years continuous service i.e on and from 25.01.2015 onwards.Even though your Company is being taken over, your present years of service is taken into consideration for the purpose of Gratuity eligibility.
