Dear Sir,

I have lost company property and the company has filed case against me for the same stating i have sold it The company has not issued appt letter

Am i liable to pay the entire cost are they required to prove negligience

Dear Sir / Madam,

You are entitled to adjust the net written down or realizable market value of the lost company property from the amount owed to you by the Company towards unpaid salary or wages and all other dues in your full and final settlement, and only if there is any shortfall thereafter, you remain liable to pay and settle the amount to the Company and vice versa.
