Legal Question in Employment Law in India

dear Sir/Madame , I am Ranku Dutta , sales manager of a garments company , have a question to ask, I was employee of Samurai Exports , Bangalore. as Sr Sales executive for duration of one year, during my tenure, the company created a mail ID with their web , that is [ [email protected] ], but before they created that mail id , I created a mail id with GMAIL as [email protected] , for own convenience of sending sales mails, company was aware of it too and had no problem with it . Now that I have left the organisation legally (having served notice period and with relieving letter) , company is asking for pasword of it. I am not willing to share it as my name and phone no are involved in it . If misused in any form , I will come under legal issue, now company General Manager is mailing me quoting of taking legal action against me for not sharing password , I am ready to delete all the information related to company and at the max I can delete the ID itself , but can not share password , please help me how can go forward with this tangle ( meanwhile I have provided them password of company�s mail id�d password )

Dear Ranku,

Simply forward all the official mails in the gmail ID to the General Manager, delete the gmail ID and inform the General Manager of having deleted it.
