Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hi,I had joined an IT company in August 2011 as a fresher and had signed a 2 year bond for RS 2 lakhs on stamp paper.I was given a 2 months classroom training and was randomly assigned a work profile there which was not at all suiting me and there was no future scope for it . I was not able to perform well and could see my carrer going down.I tried telling them to change my profile but they told its not possible and instead told me to concentrate on my work and if I dont perform well I will be thrown out of the company. I worked there for 8 months and then I got another job with the profile of my intreast and I broke the bond . After 1 year I got a legal notice from a lawyer asking to pay the bond amount of 2 lakhs. Please help I dont have that much to pay.I dont require any work exp letter.Neither was I given a 2 lakh RS worth of training.

Dear Sir / Madam,

You undertook to serve in the IT company from August 2011 till July, 2013. You worked in the Company for a period of 10 months. Now, if the IT Company has paid your salary as per your Offer and appointment letter for the entire 10 months that you served them, the pending bond amount payable as on date works out to Rs. 1,16,666.67ps You should reply to the Company's HR Department with a copy to your lawyer that even if you are to accept the liability to pay, it works out to Rs. 1,16,666.67ps and not Rs. 2 lakhs and leave it there for the moment. Repost after reply.

Regards,
