Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I worked with an organisation for almost 4 years. I was asked to resign and it was agreed as per the terms of appointment that the organisation will pay me two months salary in lieu of notice. While making full and final settlement, the company has paid only Basic plus DA for the notice period of two months excluding HRA, Conveyance and Medical which are all a part of monthly salary. Can i claim this amount from the employer? What is the provision of law?

Dear Sir / Madam,

The Company has rightly paid you the two month's notice salary since the definition of Salary for the purpose of notice pay comprises of Basic pus Dearness Allowance alone. Your attempt to make any additional claims would be futile.
