Dear Sir / Madam,

In keeping with the terms and conditions of your appointment, since the notice period during the period of probation was only 7 days either side, the employer is entitled to only deduct 7 days gross salary from your full and final settlement, if and only if, you have not served the 7 days notice period in the Company. If you have served the full notice period of 7 days and handed over charge along with the Company property back to HR, the Management is not legally entitled to deduct even a single rupee by way of notice period salary from your full and final settlement. You should write a letter addressed to the CEO / MD to immediately pay you the excess amount deducted from your full and final settlement, failing which you should lodge an FIR against the HR Manager in the local Police station.

Regards,
