What is difference between a rent agreement and paying Guest agreement where a student is provided all amenities of home on a token payment. with regards sin.yours abc

Dear Sir / Madam,
The main difference between a paying guest and the Licensee (tenant) is :
A paying guest shares a room and lives with the Owners in the apartment / bungalow / chalet / flat / house / mansion. In an Agreement for Leave and License (termed as the Rent Agreement prior to 1985) the Owners (Licensors) do not reside in the apartment / bungalow / chalet / flat / house / mansion and it is let out in entirety to the Licensee. Both are for a fixed time period.
