Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

I have been a tenant of a land for more than 60 years in India. The land has a construction of my own which is used for my business activity. My family and I are solely dependant on the income from this business. I have also never defaulted any rent payments. Can the owner get the property vacated anytime on his own will? Also, do I have the first right to buy the land if he sells it?

1 Answer from Attorneys

1) No preference to the tenant. If interested u can offer a little more price than the market price and buy.

2) Simply because of ur 60 years, u cannot become owner. If he asks u to vacate, u hv to.
