Legal Question

I am asking this because he is my boy friend and he isnt sikh i am sikh, so my parents have said him to become sikh other wise no chances, i dont want him to change his religion because i am not so selfish, thats why was just searching that the answer to the question should be no but unfortunately it was yes.
