Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

i had constructed first floor on my father's self acquired property and later purchased the whole property ie ground floor and first floor. they have released their rights.my brother's children after attaining majority have filed partion suit stating that their father constructed first floor and the money was supplied through my brother's father in law.the plaintiff have not produced any evidence for the same. my brother has denied that he recieved money from his father in law for construction of first floor. but i also do not have any documentary evidences. to prove that i constructed first floor.

please advise me. the plaintiffs are asking for compensation for the first floor construction.will the judgement be in their favour

Dear Sir / Madam,

If you do not have documentary evidence in support that you constructed the first floor from your own monies, there is a possibility that the judgement can go in their favour.

Outcome of a suit depends on several factors. You may be in a better position to assess the situation after evidence of plaintiff and his/their witnesses.
