Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pakistan

Dear Sir, I recently purchased a plot of 5 marlas and have started the construction work on it. 2 days back a legal notice served to us to stop the work showing that the land is on another khasra no and our owner ship do not match with the actual land which we have occupied. we have a stamp paper with the person from whom be purchased the plot. what legal actions can I take agaist the person ? for your clear understanding different khasra no is mentioned on land documents but actually my "kabza" is on different land/plot.please advise
