Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My father expired on Oct 2015 and has no written will made, we are 2 children and my mother are after him .Now we want want inherit my fathers property which is at native place in Maharashtra , while we lives in Mumbai and my father is also expired in Mumbai, talsildar at native place asking heir certificate or succession certificate by civil court for change of name.please advice procedure by actual law , what is necessary thing to do and what are don'ts.

Go for registered partition deed and file for mutation.
