First step would be to serve a notice and then approach court.

you can easily find the amendments on the net. just google search "amendments in Hindu Succession Act in 2005" and you will know what all amendments that were made. but its legal language and a lawyer would explain you better.

The daughters who are eligible to claim their rights in the ancestors property would serve a notice on the possessors if they deny to give their share.
