Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
i have paid 500000/- via cheque to a real estate company as underwrite amount. but due to some reason the deal was cancelled & now the builder is not paying me back my money. i have tried to call them many times. but they are answering by any means. can you suggest any legal process.

There are lots of options. Firstly, serve a legal notice and wait for 7 days. If he does not oblige, file a police complaint. Apart from that yo can also file a suit for recovery. But before that, I would like to know as to why the deal got cancelled and was there any agreement.
