Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
shopkeeper submitted a forged a document to DVAT (Delhi VAT authority) to acquire DVAT and thus claims to be our tenant. (the document was prepared 10 years ago by his uncle claiming to be owner of our property).
We are NRI and just found the forged documents from DVAT file under RTI act after 16 months. What action can we take to repossess our shop? he has been occupying for last 10 years. I s there any criminal code that can be applied here?

1) Lodge FIR with Police.
2) Also file eviction suit.
