Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Trinidad and Tobago

My dad died in 2008 without leaving a will. He left a property behind. I live in the USA and a couple of weeks ago I discovered my mom received Letters of Administration for everything since September 2012. She has yet to receive the deed to the property and is telling me she doesn't know whose name will be on there. What is your advice on the matter? I have 2 other siblings who are mentally challenged. I am 35yrs old and know little about the laws concerning this matter.

Your Mom is entitled to one half of the total inventory of your Dad's estate and you together with your siblings are entitled to an equal share of the remaining half of the estate. The Deed of Assent should be in the names of all the beneficiaries in the ratio stated above. Your mom can sell the property and distribute the monies in the same ratio. Your share is 1/6.
